Reveal: Eclectic Design for Newlyweds

Anisa and I are having a blast helping out Lauren and Clete with their home.  They have just celebrated their two-year-anniversary, and they just needed help tying both of their things together to make a cohesive and fun home.

Luckily, he is crafty and handy and she is willing and daring so we got to try out a few things (on a tight budget, too!)

There are a lot of things going on in this dining room (painted antique hutch, black vintage depot lights, a mix of chairs)….so we wanted to keep some restrain in the accessories and art.

We kept a little bit of order by keeping all the art in florals, and keeping them in a tight line.

We also kept our EAT simple and white.  We wanted to bling it out in gold, but it would just steal the show.

nothing makes us happier than mixing a vintage mod Kartel with a farm table.

and syling mantels.

We love all the white above the burlap console (I know–we need to press the burlap and hang the art!)

I can say one thing fairly confidently–if you love the funky, Anthropologie look, I think we’re your girls :)
