I have SO been there–securing the baby for 2 seconds, move the crap into the living room, snap a few pictures. Awesome, Cara!

Okay, and I’m dying over Katie’s kitchen! You know I am over that white!! Here is what she said:
“Here is a photo of my backsplash – shiplap or horizontal boards. It was a last minute decision and against our budget, but we are so happy we did it.”

“here’s some photos of our backsplash. it’s 19×19 slate tile with gridlines. we, ok, fine, me, and not necessarily hubby, wanted glass subway, but this option was 25% of the price. we live in the pacific northwest (that is until we move to dallas in a few months after major diy renos with our house just last year) and this just suits our house style better than glass subway.”
