time to mix it up! (new looks in our homes)

“A good home is never really done.”

Who said that?  Probably everyone.

Aren’t you always changing your home?

Above are some changes Anisa has made to her living room.  The art wall features art of her creation and the mirror was an antiques market find.

When she and her husband, Casey, were first married they lived in Watercolor Beach in Florida.  So truly the beachiness you see in her decor is because it reminds her of her time there.

A metal-top table she recently discovered for a song…

A new farm table find she found at the same market.  She loves it!  These are her patio chairs that she moved in temporarily until she gets the chairs she really wants.  (She has plans for the table & chairs–will share more when she’s done.)

And speaking of plans–look at these wooden, swivel bar stools we found at a antique mall in Roswell (for a steal!)  They will replace her IKEA bar stools.  They have been good to them, but (of course) she is ready for a change.

What would you do to these stools if you had them?  (I told her maybe a dark fabric on the inside–she does have a preschooler!)  She is considering reupholstering in drop cloths, but not sure.  She is accustomed to bleaching her current stools’ slipcovers.

And a few changes in my home…

Told y’all I’m a lamp ho.

Happy Wednesday!  Julie (and Anisa)
