Julie, Chris, Liam and Wyatt live in Roswell, Georgia. Looking back, she realizes she has always been a designer, but didn’t know she wanted a career in it until she staged her home. When it sold at the first showing in a down market, she knew this was what she was meant to do. She began the Milk and Honey Home blog to chronicle the renovation of her ’70s ranch and share her passion for decorating. Now, along with Anisa, she has started Milk and Honey Home, L.L.C. to share their passion and skills with residential, commercial and online clients.
Their work will be featured on HGTV’s Design Wars, Better Homes & Gardens Magazine (July 2011 and November 2011), Kitchen and Bath Makeovers (Fall 2011), Southern Flourish (Fall 2011) Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine (October 2011), Houzz, BHG.com and more
Anisa lives in Roswell, Ga with her husband, Casey, and Daughter, Ava. Anisa’s passion for decorating began as a little girl at the age of 7. Instead of playing with barbies she would be up in her room drawing floor plans for her future dream house. Growing up, Anisa always loved to redecorate the house with her mom’s help and was constantly rearranging the furniture in her room.
Anisa started decorating 9 years ago when a good friend saw potential in her and gave Anisa the freedom to do whatever she wanted in her home. From people seeing Anisa’s first job, her work spread through word-of-mouth and thus began Anisa’s career. Anisa has done a wide range of projects from new home construction to renovations, to baby rooms, event planning and churches.
Anisa loves projects and is constantly repainting or repurposing an old piece of furniture. She also creates and sells landscape paintings, personalized quote artwork and sews speciality pillows. Anisa loves what she does and considers herself very blessed to able to work with such wonderful clients and friends she has made along the way. She is honored to be a part of the Milk and Honey Home team.
